By using GifMuse you agree to these terms. They are short because the tools are simple: the editing tools run in your browser and we never receive your files.
Using the tools
- The tools are free to use.
- You may not use GifMuse to break the law, or to attack, overload or disrupt the site.
The AI GIF Generator
- The generator gives each visitor a limited number of free GIFs per day. We may change the limit, or pause the generator, at any time.
- Don't use it to create illegal, hateful, sexual or violent content, content that imitates real people, or content that copies other people's characters or logos. Prompts are also checked by OpenAI and must follow OpenAI's usage policies.
- Don't try to get around the daily limit, for example with scripts or many addresses.
Your content
- The GIFs you edit and create are yours. We claim no rights to them.
- You are responsible for having the right to use the GIFs, images and text you edit, and for how you use the results.
- Files you edit never reach us, so we can't see, store or recover them. We don't keep prompts or GIFs from the AI generator either.
Open-source software and AI models
The tools use open-source libraries and openly licensed AI models, listed on the About page. Those components are covered by their own licenses.
No warranty
GifMuse is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the tools working and accurate, but we don't guarantee that they will always be available, error-free, or produce the result you expect. AI background removal in particular can make mistakes, so check the result before you use it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, GifMuse is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, the site or its tools.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use GifMuse after a change means you accept the new terms.
